Michael Craciunoiu (KRAS-IN-NOY) has been with the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) serving on the chapter services team since January of 2012. In his current role, he is responsible for establishing the vision and direction for NHF’s partnership with national and affiliated chapters to achieve the goals of the NHF’s Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining the NHF, Michael worked for the Indiana State Department of Education and a host of notable nonprofit organizations whose missions focused on education, mental health, and disabilities within the states of Indiana, Illinois, New York, and Tennessee. Michael has diverse working experiences with people of all ages and backgrounds performing instructional design, coaching and performance management, program evaluation, fundraising, and board development.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in education both from the University of Illinois, and has received a certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy. Michael is also currently working to achieve a credential as a Certified Executive Coach. He enjoys sports, any kind of trivia, and relaxing with his wife Brittany and their two boys, Emerick and Barrett.
